TIPPS FÜR BRÖNBDY-TOUR, PUBS VORHER, NIGHTLIFE ETC.

#
hey an alle bröndby-fahrer,

First of all, it’s a very good idea to warm up in Copenhagen – I would recommend staying out of Brøndby until it’s time to go to the stadium (do under no circumstances go to Hovsa Bodega in Brøndby).
WARM UP:

If the weather is good, I would recommend going to the “Nyhavn” area. There are lots of small pubs just by the water, and always lots of young people (a bit expensive though).

If you want something closer to the Main Train Station, there are a couple of big pubs just opposite of Tivoli.

When Schalke played us (and lost), they warmed up at Absalon, which is in the beginning of “Strøget” – the main pedestrianized street in Copenhagen. This also works as a club at night.

NIGHT:

As much as I’d love to see you guys in tears, after a 5-0 defeat, chances are that you will have every reason to celebrate. As far as I remember, Copenhagen is normally crowded with young people Thursday night and the bars and clubs I’ve mentioned above should have plenty of visitors.

I’ve heard that the hottest place in Copenhagen right now is “Grill Bar”, but I’ve never been there though. You can pretty much just walk down the streets around Strøget, and should see plenty of pubs and nightclubs.

And then just a few tips for watching football in Denmark – I don’t think you will need them, but here goes:

The Danish police act a little different at football matches than the German police (great guys), and tend to employ a zero-tolerance politic. If incidents happen, make sure to move away from the area fast, as we have many incidents where innocent football fans have come to harm because of this (Anmerkung: IST JA WIE BEI UNS!!). When in Brøndby -  Well… obviously if someone is wearing Stone Island clothes, chances are they won’t enjoy jokes about the first match.

Normally it is quite safe to go to Brøndby matches (unless you’re from FC Copenhagen) but nevertheless it is the most “feared” Danish ground to visit for other fans, and with rumors that a certain Frankfurt-group plan to visit Hovsa, there might be problems, but lets hope not.

In diesem Sinne: AUF NACH DK!!

grüße mo
