Hello Frankfurt fans! I live in the South of Holland (Sittard) I and some friends want to visit a game of Frankfurt. We read about the RMV kombiticket. But I don't 100% understand how it works.
If I order a ticket I get a code for a free train ticket? So I can go to Frankfurt for 0 euros by train?
Hello David, yes and no. You can´t travel from Netherlands to Franfurt using this ticket. "Taking trains for 0,-€" is only possible between Mainz (West) and Fulda (East) and Mannheim (South) and i think Kassel (North [I´m not sure because of Kassel]). You can take use of these tickets from 5 hours before beginning of the game until "Betriebsschluss" (when train stops working at night). But only on your direct route to the stadium. If you buy tickets and use "print@home" take care that you get your seperate RMV-Ticket (you can find the URL to book this ticket on your invoice) as well. If you get tickets "printed by Eintracht Frankfurt", RMV is included automatically. Sorry for my bad english.

I understand now!
You are allowed to use only regional trains, not long-distance-trains. So f.e. if you travel from Mainz to Frankfurt you must not use an ICE, even if you use this train just for a short distance. ,-)
Regional trains are allowed for journeys from every station on this map inside the highlighted borders (RMV&NVV):

Hope that helps you!
