Where is the Riederwald Stadion ?

Hi

We are hoping to visit the stadium prior to the match against Leverkusen.

Can someone please let me know where in the city it is located ?

Also is it simple to travel from the Riederwald Stadion to the Waldstadion by public transport ?

The Riederwald stadion is in the east of frankfurt, here you can have a look:

The blue flag is the Riederwaldstadium, the orange flag is the Waldstadion.

By public transportation, it will need up to an hour to get there, I guess...

It is not hard to find.

If you are at the Station called "Schäfflestrasse" next to Riederwald take the U7 (direktion "Hausen") until you get to "Hauptwache". From "Hauptwache" you need to take the S8 (direction "Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof") and get out at "Frankfurt Main Stadion".

Another more complicated way is:
Schäfflestrasse (U7 - direction Hausen) -> Konstablerwache
Konstablerwache (U4 - direction Bockenheimer Warte) -> Hauptbahnhof
Hauptbahnhof (S9 - direction Kelsterbach Bahnhof) -> Stadion

There is always a way to get to the Waldstadion. It will take you about half an hour + 15 min. of walking time to the stadium.

But to stop at the stadium is called 'Bahnhof Sportfeld'.
But it´s as easy as Don.Markus said. Leave S-train where we all leave it.

Don't look for "Sportfeld". That's history. The stop is now called "Stadion".

@Don.Markus, erzähl mal keinen Mist!

Schäfflestraße U7 direction Hausen until Konstablerwache (no stairs climbing necessary there, just walk to the other side of the platform)
Konstablerwache S8/S9 direction Wiesbaden until Frankfurt Stadion.

Vielleicht drückst du dich etwas genauer aus und sagst mir was ich denn für einen Mist erzähle. Meine Angaben sind alle richtig.
