I'm not an expert, but this guy seems pretty good (and cheap). He reminds me of Yeboah but a lil quicker. Here is (the infamous) his youtube video link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LA8hyP3vhhk Seriously, what does the experts here think?
this is his link on transfermarkt (german site where all the players and teams are listed with stats, current clubs and so on....)
unfortunately i cant watch the video, because im at work right now and youtube is locked on this computer. it is always hard to judge players by just a youtube video though. u can make everybody look talented and good if u just cut the good scenes together and make it look like youre the next okocha i dont know the player, and 1 million € aint really cheap but maybe he would be a good backup forward, next to lakic and MR X .... perhaps there are users on here who have already seen him play... personally, i would really like to have a young talented forward on our team, doesnt matter if hes from germany or not ...
like i said, i cant say anything about afum because i havent seen him play, yet... if anyone knows him, tell us
Some great goals indeed! But mostly against teams with no and/or ridiculous defensive skills. In Germany, he would face some serious tackles and lack of space for dribblings.
I kind of figured that the teams he was playing against are weak defensively, but I believe (again, not an expert) he could take the punishing tackles that are delivered here Europe. He has size and speed. His market value went from 100,000 Euro to 1,000,000 Euro in little more than a year. I would at least invite him for a try out. You never know... he could be the next Yeboah, maybe even better.
Currently he plays for BSC Young Boys in Switzerland. He has only been there 4 months and 26 days. In 15 games he has scored 4 goals and has one assist. Not bad at all. Apparently, he can compete at a European level. Again, I would at least invite him for a try out. So Bruno... if you or Armin are reading this... look him up.
Here is an interview of Stéphane Chapuisat (Head Scout for BSC Young Boys) about the strengths and weaknesses of Samuel Afum (Schweizerdeutsch): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tF_BVtWdlhQ
Samuel Afum is very fast and good in one-vs-one situations... (that's all I could understand ).

He seems pretty level-headed. I believe he would fit, character-wise, to the Eintracht.
You need to check him out, instead of trying to figure out how you're going to afford a player like Vaclav Kladec (5,000,000.00 Euro).
