Lausanne, 30 August 2013 – The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has today dismissed the appeal filed by Besiktas JK against the decision taken by UEFA to exclude it from the European Europa League 2013/2014. Due to the urgency of the matter, the CAS Panel has issued its decision without the grounds. The full, reasoned award will be issued as soon as possible.
UEFA excluded Besiktas JK from the current edition of the Europa League because of match-fixing. The Turkish club appealed such decision to the CAS. In agreement with the parties, the CAS set a timetable for an accelerated procedure and granted the stay of the UEFA decision, allowing Besiktas JK to participate in the current edition of the Europa League. The parties were heard at a hearing at the CAS on 20 August 2013
Pursuant to the UEFA decision, which is now confirmed by the CAS, Besiktas JK is excluded from the UEFA Europa League 2013/14.

Hammergeil. ist mir momentan komplett Latte gegen wen wir kicken. sechs geile Abende werden es so oder so. und die Chance, weiterzukommen, Kohle abzusahnen, nochmal mindestens zwei Flutlichtspiele abzugreifen, wie geil ist das denn. Ohne Werner und sein taegliches Feilen an der Statistik waere das nicht moeglich gewesen. Bin nochmal euphorischer als sowie so schon.
Da Besiktas aktuell schon raus ist, sind wir in Topf 2, falls ENTWEDER
-Alkmaar noch ausscheidet (nach 3:1 Auswaertssieg im Hinspiel in Athen lagen sie in der 59. Minute 0:1 zurueck, bei 0:2 Niederlage waeren sie logischerweise draussen)
ODER
der Lucky Loser, wie von den Experten erwartet, in Topf 4 kommt.
UEFA hat auch sofort bestätgt, dass Tromsö nachrutscht:
The UEFA Emergency Panel, which is composed of five members of the UEFA Executive Committee, decided to reinstate Tromsø IL – who had lost to Beşiktaş JK in the play-off round – for the remainder of the 2013/14 UEFA Europa League.
As a consequence, the Norwegian club will now be included in the UEFA Europa League group stage draw which will take place on 30 August at 13.00CET in Monaco, streamed on UEFA.com.

Stimmt natürlich, sorry. Aber wenn es so kommt, wäre es schon sehr ungerecht, dass eine Mannschaft, die ausgeschieden ist, dafür sorgt.
