Our former striker scored twice today for his new team Gaziantepspor in their 3-2 win over Galatasaray!

Still hurts to see him leave..now even more so!

Ochs clearly stated in the media that it was his own decision not to leave in the current situation (apparently he told Magath before the Farfan deal at Schalke fell through), with the responsibilities he has as a captain here at Eintracht. Fair play to him.

And he said he had sleepless nights until the game which somehow explains his 'tired' performance

About half a year ago all these pubs were good spots to catch Bundesliga games, they should be still open:

Famous 3 Kings (F3K) in West Kensington
Bavarian Beerhouse in Old Street (East)
As Kirner mentioned The Zeitgeist in Vauxhall

You should find them all on the web.

maybe the time has come for BVB!

It would be typical Eintracht...v Koeln everyone expects the win but the Eagles practice the usual footie charity and screw it. V Dortmund everyone expects Borussia to win with their current run and of course Eintracht's phragmental defense...but...football is a funny old game

It was a tough match for BVB on Wednesday, they had to go for it right up to the final whistle..so who knows how tired they'll be..

Help me Obi Skibbe Nobi, you're my only hope...

GO EINTRACHT!

Hello,
I am travelling to London on the 22th January.
I want to visit a football match in London and need some advises, where I can get cheap tickets.
Teams of the match are not important, I just want to visit a match in England.

Best regards
niederrheiner_adler

You can also check out Charlton Athletic who are a welcoming club in South East London, playing at 'The Valley'. As they play in the Football League 1 (which is the third English division, confusing I know..) it might be easier to get tickets and less expensive.

They will play Plymouth Argyle on the weekend you're in London:

http://www.cafctv.co.uk/page/Fixtures/0,,10267,00.html

I used to go there a  lot when I was in the UK and always enjoyed it, I have seen a game v Plymouth also who had pretty loud support back then . Greenwich is not far for beers after the game, but trains into the center (London Bridge) are also an option.

PN me if you need more info!

a few answers to your catalogue of questions:

Mainz is located directly where the river Rhein meets the river Main - hence the name.

They are called 'Nullfünfer' as it stands for 05 coming from their club name (founded in 19'05').

Not sure about their smoking habits but Watford seems a good match. Didnt they sing 'We're hornets hornets hornets' to the melody of 'I'm horny horny horny' as their stadium anthem? Mainz sing 'Never walk alone' follwed by 'Wir sind nur ein Karnevalsverein' (We are just a carnivals club) - so there..

I believe their away kits are green this season..

Well one way or the other - SGE won the derby!!!

Cheers

I reckon it's possible although Dortmund have a great run currently and their team looks like a real unit but also with good individuals who can win a game. Eintracht needs to focus on defending well against them and then hope for Gekas to score.

Tricky question! I think there are three eras:

Alfred 'Don Alfredo' Pfaff (50es/60es)
Jürgen Grabowski (70es/80es)
Anthony Yeboah (80es/90es)

But there are many more I could name

My personal all time hero is pbbly Jürgen Grabowski!

Cheers
