Hi IrishEintrachtFan - May The Forza SGE Be With You This Christmas.............What an amazing siege mentality you have....
I must admit that it was also hard getting to the Waldstadion from Monkey-Land for the game against the Anna-Buzzzzzzers.
I first tried on Thursday 16th but no flights, then a window of opportunity arose on Friday 17th which I took, but the locks were frozen on my Mercedes-Benz "UHU" and I couldn't get into him to drive. The fallback position was my partners Boxster "BIRBA" which we had to wake up from winter sleep mode. So after 18 hours of travelling I finally arrived in Pfaffenweisbach to start on my first bottle of Himbergheist with some very fine and good friends.
Things got a bit twitchy on Saturday 18th itself as I was using a German T-mobile weird handy which I couldn't understand how to operate. I accidentally got on the S-Bahn 1 at the Hauptbahnhof as I was busy winding up three young Bee Babies who got on with me. Aye!! Caramba!! the second stop was not the Waldstadion so the four of us had to come back. I missed important intelligence that had been texted to me and managed to take my seat for only the second half....but what a second half especially the 87th minute Kanone Strike by Number 21....
I bumped into the Baby Bee Buzzers after the game at the Green Licher stand and bought them a beer, we went back to the Hauptbahnhof together where they had to buy the drinks. Needless to say I insisted it was Applewoi we should enjoy and these little Buzzers just hated it !!!!! But at least they now know why we are all crazy at the Waldstadion.
We have the Fan-Forum showing here in 50" LCD on a Sony Multi-Media system playing through a Vintage Quad Hi-Fi at a Christmas Eve party us old Punk buddies from 1977 have every year. We are all joining in writing this but we are only speaking the one tongue of the InselaffeSGE mother language.

We are all coming to the Waldstadion next year as Gangsters with Violin Cases for a special event which we are crafting this evening whilst drinking shed loads of Pusser's Royal Navy Rum. However, we do of course need to observe correct protocol and first seek agreement and consultation with the nuttiest party UF97'ers we can find.
Luftwaffe finally got me home after 8 days of hard partying, so now it's day 9 still on full throttle, cooking on Canned Heat. Those Lufthansa girls are hot, but should be in Red and Black....however maybe some of them are really Vixens in Ladies clothing....
I had a cool time with some fantastic Californians from the Oakland Hills outside Cisco and I do believe a certain Dot Com might just have acquired a taste for Appler.....and We 8 Spurs....
Here's the guys and girls Lucky Top 11 for Christmas Eve, inspiration and an invite (you know who you are !) for a mad night in Limeshaim sliding down the Fireman's Pole...

That's good intelligence - maybe we standfast hard against them in the first half, packing the mid-field a bit - while trying to hit a few through on the break. Second half we see how their thigh strength is and then go all out to move it about them ,-) ,-) ...
Seville are a good team and will give them a bit to take home on Thursday morning.

Your record currently at five from five should rub off quite nicely and I shall apply some psycho-warfare by taking the piss out of Borussia Dortmund named "attributes" ("The Yellow Canaries") etc etc.
I should have been at the match with the Funfnullers, as I now call them, but I got stuck in snow here in Sussex and couldn't leave Monkey-Land by tunnel, ferry or plane. I was so annoyed.... but I managed to watch the Boys go for it at the Waldstadion only on SKY Bundesliga on my laptop.
I'm trying to secure a ticket transfer for the game with the Yellow Canaries but this is a very big ASK from a friend.
However, if I get over on the 18th I'll buy you a big Wurst and we can make introductions.

Hello Tom - goood of you to get in contact with me.
I've been coming to the Waldstadion since Samstag 07.04.2001 15:30hrs and after the first verse of singing Im Herzen Von Europa I realised I had found the real soul of SGE. ,-) ,-) I've never been the same since and have only ever seen one game in the EPL since my semi-religious experience on 07/04/2001.
I normally try to see at least 3 or 4 matches a season at the Waldstadion. The matches I can't travel to I watch on my Laptop with a SKY Bundesliga xtra satellite hardware package.
My team in England since I was boy of 4 years old is Arsenal FC so I have been lucky enough to see the Gunners win the League and Cup double three times.
However, as I guess that you read in the Geman sports press the EPL is all about Corporate entertainment and only very rich people who can afford to pay the exorbitant ticket prices. This is bad for Grandfather, Father and Son families.
It is no longer a sport for young likely lads or real fans that want to drink beer, do some loud singing and jump up and down a lot.
This saddened me for a while but now I am supporting the best team in the World and I understand the spirit and passion of SGE so who cares !!
Chus and talk to me soon, maybe we can discuss the outcome of the away game at Koln next week.
Bembels Ahoy !

Hi Internet-Team
Well I thought it was the best I could do as a result of not being able to support in person at the Waldstadion. I was cut off from civilisation and stranded in Monkey-Land because of the recent snow storms....
Due to the apparent success of my psycho-warfare in helping our Adler Boys beat the "Funfnullers" I think a similar tactic could maybe work against FC Köln. As a preview of my first thoughts are they "Billy Goats" Gruff or are they perhaps "Marmosets" ?

Watch this thread for further developments during the week running up to our away game against the "Marmosets" of Koln..

.......are the Saturday games in the top two divisions.
Arsenal tickets v Wigan - https://www.eticketing.co.uk/arsenal/details/event.aspx?itemref=4780 you might have to regiser or be a member but I think there would be people selling them around the stadium on matchday for this game.
The other ones will be easy to get tickets on the day at the stadium as will not be sold out.
The games that weekend are not very good!
These are good notes by dc-edinburg but I'd like to add some more comments so you can be careful on the 22nd of January and not get caught out.
To get official Arsenal FC tickets you have to pay sterling £30 just to join as a Red Club Member. All you get for this £30 fee is a place in the queue for tickets...I think this very wrong...you can wait for months & months before a ticket is made available to you.
You can buy official tickets safely on the Web but the prices are completely stupid:-
http://www.livefootballtickets.com/english-premiership-arsenal-v-wigan-athletic-tickets/london-7988.html
Beware that some Websites are illegal "Scams" and Phishing sites who will take your money and never give you a ticket.
It is not a good idea to buy a ticket from a "Tout" outside the ground. They will charge you a £50 deposit fee to use an electronic gate entry card which you have to give back to the "Tout" after the game is finished to get your £50 deposit back. On top of this they will try to charge you maybe £100 or more for entry to the game with this card !!!!!
Arsenal security also use surveillance CCTV cameras to spot people making deals with "Touts". If security then catch you at the gate they won't let you in (you will loose the £100 you paid the tout and your deposit of £50 !!)
These are only some of the reasons that I now come to the Waldstadion to enjoy my football. Other than Eintracht Frankfurt are simply the greatest Club in the World.

In order to apply the curse of the "Blind Spot" on the "Funfnuller's" (as written about in the book Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson) I have raised 10 unlucky questions for my judgement about the "Carnival-Chameleon Boys"....
Main is in 80% of their club name but they live on the Rhein, where does the 10% of Z come from ?
Mainz has been twinned with Watford in the United Kingdom since 1956. In England, Watford is regarded as a comic town and it's football team are the butt of many jokes - even their own:-
http://www.footballjokes.co.uk/songschants/watford_town.html
Do Mainz 05 share the same smoking habits with Watford FC ?
Unlike Frankfurt-am-Mainhattan, Mainz doesn't appear to offer a distinctive Citynight Skyline and the only other language on their Tourist Website is French, not English.
http://www.mainz.de/WGAPublisher/online/html/default/home
Do they therefore only accept "Smurfs" into the city limits whilst Inselaffen are completely banned?
Haven't they got any decent songs other than one about jesters heaven ? - Narrhallamarsch is rubbish, it's only 1 min 10 seconds long and judging by its Youtube results it doesn't appear to even have any words to sing...I'll upload a proper song to them tomorrow morning.
Their tricots are red and white. They are now a mirror image of Ajax Amsterdam, with a big red block on a white shirt. Mainz 05 used to have checkered red and white shirts. Why this apparent chameleon like activity ?
I bet their away tricots are or@nge ? (I can't speak this colour - even in my mother tongue - and I've promised Miso never to use this word or Holl@nd in the English Fan Forum sector.)
Have they still got two "Septic" "Soccer" players in their football team - Preston Zimmerman and Jared Jeffrey ?
Remaining on the subject topic of "Septic" USA, why is their nick-name Die Funfernullers (Die Nullfunfers !), do they originally hail from Hawaii in the Pacific Ocean ?.

Hi Alex, yes, let's make it so....

Internet-Team, maybe you might find some time before Samstag 04/12/2010 to give me your viewpoints on these questions ? After all I have only been InselaffeSGE for eight years and as such a new Boy I still need help.

Well at least my flag appears to be Red, no A for Adler in sight, but a B for Baker instead - Wilco !!!
What about Watford FC supporters ?
I'm not personally one of these individuals but the Mainz 05, Funfnuller Hawaii FC, "Carnival-Chameleon" boys home town on the rhein appears to be twinned with Watford.
The Funfnuller's are next up at the Waldstadion Samstag 04/12/2010 and I'm off to have a five day long pre-Christmas party with my Adler Kamerad's...
Ever fancy meeting for some Ales at the Rec' sometime for a good match - London Wasps would be a starter ? I'm a drinking member of Richmond RFC these days - well I am 50 years old....
PS When do you next foresee your potential for a visit to the Walsdtadion ?
Do you have a presence, alter-ego or otherwise, on Facebook, Youtube or MySpace that you are prepared to share with me ?

Gudentag team-adler,
Although it's three years old I just found an old post of yours in the Fan Forum from 06.12.07 23:23hrs sent to one of our Northern Inselaffe from Oldham Athletic "The Y(L)atics".
I'm glad you wrote "Since most of us are not multiple personalities, here we support one and all of us the same club."
We are lucky, as all Adler know that there is only One Truly Great Football Team in the World.
team-adler, if ever you have 10 mins or so to spare ?
This is a somewhat lengthy message of support to your comment of 06.12.07 23:23hrs (which you won't have remembered making anyway) but you might find it funny to read and therefore be amused in helping me answer some questions I have.......
If you have started thinking I'm some Lunatic Mitgleider whose just surfed in - you're right - just ask poor Miso and Internet-Team who I've been recently bombarding with Gonzo Journalism Nachrichten......
I am ready to reveal the fact in the SGE Fan Forum that I am indeed a true InselaffeSGE from Shoreham Beach, Brighton, West Sussex, England.
Are you at the Waldstadion for the match against the "Carnival-Chameleon Boys" on Samstag 04/12/2010 ?.
It might be fun to meet up for a brief introduction if you are in the least bit interested.......
I have 10 tip top topical questions about Fußball- und Sport-Verein Mainz 05 e.V. which are puzzling me as I consider them odd and a bit weird:-

Hi EintrachtFan87
Nice work Adler.
I'm driving over for our party weekend against the Carnival Boys on 04/12/2010 and will take some video mpeg's of the Westkurve in full SGE voice to share with you for possible inclusion on your Youtube site.
However, how about this one of our "Main-Man" to be getting on with ? Or might it be a little too retro for your intended scope ?

Hi BSAdler86
I for one will never, ever forget Alexander Schur and will be buried in my coffin with an autographed card of him placed over my heart:-

Hi Schobberobber
I support your idea of taking an approach for considering players within recent era’s.
SGE Football is after all a life long obsession and it is therefore dependent upon evolving criteria. For example, how old you were as a Fan at the time of watching each player, acquiring the learnt experience and knowledge to sort the Moody Diva’s from the true Gladiators and developing an Eagle-Eye at the Waldstadion for who truly delivers Football as a work of Art.
I’ve been obsessed for only 8 years but InselaffeSGE’s Main-Man for the 2000’s is Alexander Schur.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNddNu3gke4
Out of interest I just checked with the BBC to see if they have a view from an English perspective as to who have been the finest Eintracht players throughout the era's.
A disappointing result came from “Auntie Beeb” but here's what I found out as it is quite alarming what InselaffeSGE has to read about Bundesliga Football, let alone Eintracht Frankfurt, on the BBC Sport Global website portal. However, now that I've embellished the raw text with added InselaffeSGE Gonzo Journalism
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gonzo_journalism
it's at least now funnier to read......
In the vaults of the BBC I have so far only found a list of 125 top Global players drawn up by Pele which features 10 German National squad members. Sadly, it looks as though he's been hypnotised and brainwashed by Hollywood FC !!!! Either this or my knowledge of which Club’s German national team footballers played for needs more work.
Anyway Inselaffe Buzzle has already got Pele “Worked Out to a Tee”:-
http://www.buzzle.com/editorials/3-9-2004-51447.asp
I never particularly rated Pele as a striker as he never, ever put one past "Safe as the Banks of England" in his entire playing career with Brazil. This is the closest he could only ever get in Mexico 1970:-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngE9RCAdWaE
Anyway, Pele tipped his wank of approval to these 10 individuals and I have added who I think they played for (please tell me if I’m wrong) and also a touch of InselaffeSGE humour:-
Franz Beckenbauer – Hollywood FC, Hamburger SV and New York Cosmos.
Gerd Mueller - 1861 Nordlingen, Hollywood FC, Fort Lauderdale Strikers
Jurgen Klinsmann – Stuttgarter Kickers, VfB Stuttgart, Internazionale, AS Monaco, The Blue Chickens, Hollywood FC, Bayern Munich, Sampdoria, Orange County Blue Star
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge – Hollywood FC, Internazionale, Servette FC
Lothar Matthaeus – Borussia M'Gladbach, Hollywood FC, Internazionale, MetroStars
Number 13 – Chemnitzer FC, FC Kaiserslautern, Bayer Leverkusen, Hollywood FC, KGB Chelski,

King Kong – Karlsruher SC, Hollywood FC
Note. Due to King Kong holding the rights to his name, some video games have been forced to create pseudonyms. On the football game Pro Evolution Soccer 6, King Kong is named Kalm. In the Football Manager series King Kong is known as Jens Mustermann; Mustermann translates from German into English as Sample Man and is a common placeholder name in Germany and Austria, while **** is a reference to **, King Kong’s main international goalkeeping rival. In the LMA Manager Series, King Kong is referred to as Daniel Schmidt.
**** All nicknames apply to recent Arsenal squad members.
** Jens Lehmann never had the honour of a nickname for fear that if he discovered one had been started, he would hunt all of us Gooners down and scream at us while pointing a puffy gloved finger in our faces.
• 10. The Baptizer – Julio Baptista
• 9. Van Helsing (and secondly Vampire Slayer) – Robin Van Persie
• 8. Freddie Luxemburg – Freddie Ljungberg – An American announcer actually said this once. It stuck, cause it’s hilarious.
• 7. Tomas Rosencrantz – Tomas Rosicky – A play on said American announcer, if he were to try to say Rosicky.
• 6. Spanish Fiberglass – Cesc Fabregas
• 5. Arsene Wagner – Arsene Wenger – Another play on said idiotic American announcer, if he were to try to say Arsene Wenger.
• 4. Coolio – Kolo Toure
• 3. Alexandre Song Billong – Alexandre Song Billong
• 2. Harrrrgh-leb – Alexander Hleb – where Harrrrgh is a spitting, retching sound.
• 1. Faberge Egg – Cesc Fabregas
Paul Breitner – Hollywood FC, Unreal Madrid, Eintracht Braunschweig,
Sepp Maier – Hollywood FC
Uwe Seeler - Hamburger FC
I will be researching the broadsheet English press this coming week for other opinions on Eintracht Frankfurt’s greatest players (Daily Telegraph, The Independent, The Times, The Obrouter, The Grauniad (the manner in which most Inselaffen refer to this paper because of it’s famous spelling mistakes)
http://yorkshire-ranter.blogspot.com/2004/10/grauniad-bad-day.html
The week after I might just cast a dubious moment or two on the dark fringes of the English tabloid Gutter Press for a view on Eintracht Frankfurt’s greatest players (The Sun, The Mirror, The News of the World, The Daily Spurt, etc)

Hi Drive_Like_Jehu.
I'm not a community moderator with an Adler Avatar against my Mitgleider name but I am frequently surfing these threads in the English language forums. I have made the assumption that you got a successful outcome in printing out your tickets in time somewhere else within the forum which I can't see.
My experience in this forum is that one of the many moderators with a Red Eagle Avatar before their Mitgleider names usually fasten onto requests for assistance like our boy Attilla swoops down on his prey at feeding time.
Not to be confused with his slightly more relaxed state when he's on his best behaviour welcoming and leading the SGE starting eleven out of the players tunnel.
What country do you hail from Matt as your English is well written and I wonder if you are from England like me.
Reply to me out of interest no matter where you hail from as its always good to converse with a new Mitgleider who also does not speak any German. Do you have another secondary or indeed maybe primary team beside Eintracht Frankfurt SGE ? I do hope that you are not a Hottenham Tottyspurs follower !
I don't expect that the four of you are currently standing outside the Waldstadion in a crazed fit of pique as I'd probably be hearing your screams or rage from over here in England.
I'm tracking the match against Hoffenheim on the English language rolling minute by minute teletype whilst drafting this note to you at 16:21 GMT hrs. How I wish that I were at the Waldstadion today for this game. OH ! NO ! Hoffenheim have just gone 1 up...
It's a gloomy November Saturday afternoon for me here in England after having just seen Arsenal FC get beaten at home in todays big North London Derby at the Emirates 2 - 3 by the Blue Chickens for the first time in 17 seasons.....sheer agony. We threw away a two goal first half lead, gifted a stupid penalty away and left our very in form and match hungry attacking Midfielder Jack Wilshire sitting on the bench for the entire game. Arsene Wenger then took off Samir Nasri already being voted by the fans on twitter as Arsenals player of the match and replaced him with the ineffectaul Czech Rosicky who I have never rated since he fist joined the Gunners....
