I will for sure be in front of the museum before the beginning of the match. I will be there 30minutes before kickoff as always. Alex might show up also I am sure he will.  Let me clear something.. If you stand in from of the museum looking at it I will be to the right with my daughter and a Eintracht Jacket on with "Fila" marked through it. Hope to see you guys there.

Also the "Bratwuerst Walter" is one of the best tasting places to eat before the game. When you get off the Tram walk to your left and you will see allot of people eating and drinking. There is one right in front of the main exit where you get off the tram but I have never eaten there as the Bratwuerst Walter is awesome...

Caio just does not bring the energy in training that Funkel feels he should. He seems to have that laid back Brazil type mentality during training. I have seen that myself. As for Fenin, he seems to get better each game and let me tell you without him playing the way his was against Bochum we would have not one the way we did. He played a great game from my seat in the stadium.

I honestly think the Eintracht is more talented this year than we have been in many years. The only real issue has been injuries, and lord knows we have had our share. I think with a healthy team we can be real contenders in the Bundesliga. Us being in 12th place after the first 1/2 of the season says allot with all the injuries we have had. I also agree that the one spot we are not weak in is in Goal. We need to strength in the Defense and up front on Offense.  Well that is my 2 cents

Hi Tim,

good work with all the interviews!!!

I reckon it would be interesting to interview the old school Frankfurt boys such as Russ, Nikolov, Ochs and Preuss etc to bring across what it means to them to play for the club they love and follow since they were young?

cheers and merry xmas

Holger aka Schobberobber

Thanks for the compliments and the ideas. Great job on your part of the newsletter also. My first interview was with Preuss. The last few months getting an interview has been tough because of the holidays and the schedule. I had it set for Taka. but that quickly changed as we know. According to Preuss all the players speak English and they all seem to be very supportive with the ENglish Newsletter and like the idea.

I have a suggestion:

Ask Funkel about his present relationship with the supporters.

We are looking for player request not the trainers really. Being in Frankfurt Schusch just as I am you can get the info you are looking for through the Bild Newspaper are go to the stadium during training and talk to him yourself. Sure he would love to hear from you.

Hello to all, well I hope you all are receiving the English newsletter every month and are enjoying them. I am honored to be helping with the newsletter and have the chance to interview the players for the newsletter. What I would like to know is who would you like to see interviewed? And when you make the request maybe some questions you would like to have answered. This is your chance and if you are not getting the newletter you should subscribe. Here is the link http://www.eintracht.de/newsletter/abo.php , type in your email address and click the box below for the Eintracht English Newsletter and then click on "Absenden" it is that easy. And this link will let you read previous newsletters http://www.eintracht.de/english/about_eintracht/ .
Thanks,
Tim

I am coming to my first Eintracht match when they play against Hertha soon. Can you tell me can I use cash in the stadium or do I have to buy some kind of Pay Card when I want some beer with good Bundesligamatch? Greetings from Finland for all Eintracht fans!

Kari

The card also makes for a nice keepsake too. Food and beer in the stadium is very good and I think affordable.

Hi Tim,
hello to you as well. I read that you are born in the USA. Since I plan to go to New York this fall, I would like to take this advantage and ask you a question. We wanted to see a football game of the New York Giants during our vacation. I was stunned when I saw the price for a single game ticket. The lowest available price was $ 175   . Is this a usual price for the lowest category or did I make a mistake looking for a cheap ticket? Please help me or I will have watch a baseball game

For a NFL that is normal, and if you can even get tickets for a NY Giants game you should count your blessings. Do not forget you will have to pay for food and stuff while in the stadium so you can bet it will be an expensive game. Yankee tickets or Met tickets are also hard to get for baseball. Good Luck.

Well I am glad to see this as new part of the new Eintracht Page. I am a season ticket holder in Block 26A  and have been a fan of Frankfurt since 1994. I live in Frankfurt and read and speak German and can also write it but allot easier for me to write in English. Nice to have a place to come to here. Hello to all
