They might have finished 6th last season but in recent years they were nearly always in the bottom half.

I'll accept 15th in the league at the end of this season..........as long as I have trips to Berlin and Turin to look forward to also . Or 16th place with two play-off games against Kaiserslautern (or Cologne)   !

By the way, why wait till Monday mornings. There are some good options for viewing the games online.

The number of dates/times announced varies every time in my experience since coming here in 2007. It more often than not ties in with what European dates are known as that seems to be the key factor in DFB's scheduling.

I'd suggest just arriving at the stadium by train or tram - free travel with match ticket - and there are beer stalls all around the stadium.

It can be difficult arranging travel to Bundesliga games as its sometimes short notice for when the game will be played. Bundesliga 2 was even worse with games between 1800 Friday and 2015 Monday!

Gladbach is the 7th game after winter break that we are waiting dates and times for. I don't think it will be in the next lot of dates given but could be wrong. It might not be until later in January though.

Depending on flight availability from where you are your best bet would be to book to arrive on Friday afternoon and leave later Sunday evening.

Good choice to go to Frankfurt in my opinion. Try and get a ticket near to the Westkurve end of the stadium. eintrachtonline have good youtube videos showing home and away atmosphere!

His son - who owns the taxi - came to Frankfurt again at the weekend to see the Stuttgart/Eintracht game. Unofortunately he never brings good luck as Eintracht normally lose when he is there. Hopefully that changes when him and others come to Duesseldorf.

Mark chose to spend the weekend of his 40th birthday in Frankfurt as he loved his weekends in Germany and watching Eintracht.

Sadly he passed away here in his sleep on Sunday morning.

We had a great day on Saturday watching the win against Hannover and meeting friends from EFC Presswerk Ruesselsheim and others after the game.

Mark has also watched Eintracht in Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen, Berlin and Hamburg. Sadly he cannot now come to Duesseldorf next month as planned.

Inui needs to play well just to stay in the team.

He has a lot to prove in the Bundesliga having played previously for Bochum who only finished 11th in Bundesliga 2....although he started well against Leverkusen.

I think Veh's impression of Schildenfeld was like most fans I know - not that great - and the hope was he would have a good tournament and be sold on.

Good business in my view if replaced adequately so we shall see who arrives in the next week or two.
