Hier gehts mir ähnlich. Ich habe keine Ahnung, wie FF intern mit den Spielern umgeht, ich kritisiere das auch daher nicht.
Ich schließe mich nur Maggos Kritik an, das diese Aussage an dieser Stelle und zu diesem Zeitpunkt einfach mehr als ungeschickt gewählt war - daher mein Vergleich mit Piech. Wenn sich SemperFi am Bugattivergleich stört, hätte ich das Beispiel auch mit einem neuen Bagger bringen können, der keine 200 fährt. Da weiß ich aber den Namen des Aufsichtsratschefs nicht.
Es kann sein, dass beide in Berlin auf der Bank sitzen. Habe ich kein Problem mit. Es geht um Funkels Ungeschicklichkeit im Umgang mit der Öffentlichkeit, und mit der öffentlichen Darstellung seiner Kicker. So wie Maggo oben schreibt, man hätte es anders formulieren können, und niemand (?) hätte sich dran gestört.
*Unterschreib* Ich gehe momentan inhaltlich mit Funkel konform (Erwartungshaltung senken, viel Eingewöhnungszeit fordern, hoffen das die beiden irgendwann Leistungsträger werden), aber er muss ja nicht gleich den Elefanten im Porzellanladen spielen. Ofc ist natürlich etwas ärgerlich, aber eine Profichance ist mit das Beste was es gibt. Also auf jeden Fall schauen, ob's was wird! Falls die ein Angebot für die U23 machen, kannst du damit ja auch vorher mal bei der Eintracht vorbeigehen.
Heute in der FAZ: der Stadt Frankfurt gehen durch den Umzug wohl nicht "nur" 50 Millionen an Gewerbesteuer, sondern ein Betrag in dreistelliger Millionenhöhe verloren. Wieder ein Unternehmen, dass sich - nach der betriebswirtschaftlichen Logik notwendig und konsequent, dh wohl auch aktionärsmässig bestimmt - aus der gesellschaftlichen Verantwortung stiehlt.

Das ist teilweise natürlich schon eine ganz schöne Zeit, aber du verkennst da eine ganz elementare Voraussetzung: Bremen spielt seit vielen Jahren oben mit und hat damit Cash und Attraktivität zu bieten. Mithin haben diese Spieler keine riesigen Anreize zu wechseln bzw. können durch die Teilnahme an internationalen Wettbewerben + massig Fernsehgeldern auch gehalten werden (Frings wurde ja letztens einiges für Verbleib gegeben).
Also lasst uns hoffen, dass wir mit unserem Team Anschluss an das Spiel um die internationalen Plätze erreichen. Dann bleiben die guten Spieler auch eher so lange wie bei Bremen. Dahin ist es aber noch ein langer Weg.
PS Die langfristigen Verträge mit ihnen und zB Ochs, Russ sind ein Zeichen für geplante Beständigkeit und versüssen schlimmstenfalls den Wechsel.

Ich bin ich immer noch Fan eines Fußball-Vereins und keines Investmentfonds oder so.
Bei der Verpflichtung Fenins habe ich keine Einwände:
1. Wollten uns Thurk und Takahara aus freien Stücken verlassen.
2. Sehe ich keine verfügbaren, gleichwertige deutsche Spieler. Hanke kommt preislich an Fenin heran, aber aus sportlicher Sicht, wäre ich gegen seine Verpflichtung gewesen.
Caio betrachte ich jedoch als unnötige Verpflichtung. Meier (einer der besten OM's der Liga) fällt nicht zu lange aus und man kann auch ohne OM spielen. Zudem haben wir noch Ljubicic, Weissenberger und notfalls auch noch Fenin für diese Position.
Unsere Entwicklung zeigt zwar nach oben, aber auch in die Richtung 0815-Mannschaft. Was unterscheidet uns noch von S06, HSV, BVB und H96?
Ich sehe uns derzeit nur noch zwei Schritte von einem Sponsorenklubs entfernt. Mal gucken wie viele sich hier dann noch vom Erfolg blenden lassen oder Wort halten werden ("Dann wäre es nicht mehr mein Verein!").
Welche Laus ist dir denn über die Leber gelaufen? Eine Hessenauswahl mit 11 Charly Körbels können wir leider nicht aufstellen, gute Spieler werden immer wieder zu einem anderen Verein wechseln wollen. NadW und Streit - mit denen das "Projekt Frankfurt" kurzeitig als realisierbar erschien- sind da keine Ausnahme. Einige Spieler des jetztigen Teams sagen doch auch ganz offen, dass ihr grösster Traum eine Verpflichtung durch die Bayern wäre, was zwar schade, aber nur recht und billig ist. Ein paar Wechsel auf der Suche nach mehr Geld und besseren Vereinen gehören heute zu fast jedem Fussballerleben dazu. Die Lücken, die sie reissen, müssen bei uns wie bei Werder Bremen (wer ausser Frings und Baumann ist denn da schon viele Jahre da?) durch neue Spieler geschlossen werden, bestenfalls aus den Jugendmannschaften/U23 (ich hoffe auf Toski, Juvhel, Salem, Galm, Hess, Ljubicic, u.a. die ihre Chancen bekommen werden, denn im jetzigen Kader geht natürlich noch mehr Qualität).
Zu Caio (über dessen Transfer ich mich riesig freue!!!): Ein gutes Mittelfeld ist bei uns seit Jahren quasi inexistent. Meier ist zwar sehr talentiert, aber über 3-4 gute Spiele pro Serie ist er in meinen Augen bislang nicht herausgekommen (zu passiv, zu unauffällig, hat allerdings meistens ein paar Geistesblitze für geniale Torvorlagen/Tore, die ihn auch bei sonst schlechten Leistungen gefährlich machen). Nun ist er seit Monaten verletzt und wird diese Saison wohl nicht mehr spielen. Köhler hat mir früher sehr gut gefallen (fast ein Dribbelking), zeigte diese Saison auch ein paar gute Spiele, produziert aber viele Fehlpässe und ist zudem alles andere als torgefährlich. Weisse hat nicht sonderlich viel gute Spiele auf dem Buckel und ist genauso wie Mehdi offenbar schon zu alt (bei Mehdi hoffe ich noch auf Besserung, dessen defensive Aktionen sind OK). Für mich ist deshalb - nicht erst seit Streits Abgang - ein torgefährlicher OM wie Caio die entscheidende Verpflichtung überhaupt gewesen! Was bringt ein Ama oder Fenin, wenn keiner sie mit Bällen füttern kann! Caio ist alles, aber keine unnötige Verpflichtung
PS Im OM eines 4-4-2 wünsche ich mir für die Rückrunde Toskis und Ljubicics Weiterentwicklung.
PPS Sponsorenklub? Für was haben HB und Pröckl jahrelang gespart? Richtig.
