Totally agree! Even if I think that even the management has its sins 'cos they did not buy players in January when we needed someone new. Even to choice Daum it's been high a risk and this is the result.

This season is been very disappointing for me. In the past Eintracht is been relegated after to have thought 'til the end but staying always in the bottom of the chart, instead this time EF started very well then after winter stop: the disaster, it seemed that he players had lost their wish of fighting and saving the team (how they could lost against FC Koln in Frankfurt when they know that this match meant to be safe or relegated... I still remember the monumental 5-1 against Kaiserslautern so many years ago in the last match of the season...) For me it's been wrong to not help the team with new players in January and we needed to push away Skibbe sooner it was clear that he had lost the feeling with the players. I don't know why it's been almost impossible to see together Amanatidis and Gekas, with an attack line that scored in so few matches in the 2nd leg of the season, relegation was inevitable. Funkel had made a really great job mixing during the years old and new players, then it needed only 1 year to destroy everything and go back to the 2.Bundesliga hell.

C'on eagles! This season we're discovering the real value of Caio.

I discovered EF with a kind of Football Manager game then started to follow real Eintracht in Bundesliga 98-99 the rest is history. Sometimes passion can't be explained.
Anyway, very pleased for this super season, hurray!

Funkel, if I've read well somewhere, has expired his contract so EF doesn't have to pay him anymore.
About new plaers: there is Rau as fre-transfer from Arminia, what do you think about him?
We could take back in Germany Delura from Panionios for 0€ he could be a good reserve. Or Broich from Koln.
Then there Atouba and Reinhardt from HSV still free...
Can Skibbe be the right choice as trainer?

For me he was not the player that we needed: we've alreday 6 defensers in our team, why one more?
Above all if we think that he is a red cards collector and often injured.

I think that eintracht will arrive between the first 10 positions of the B.Liga. I hope a placement usefull for the UEFA Cup or at least for the Intertoto.
I think that the society has made a good market with some very good shots as Liberopoulos and Bajramovic loosing olny one important player like Kyrgiakos but in defense we already had strong players to substitute him and then we'de bought even Belaid.
So let's go Eagles!  

I'm not so satisfied with the 3 players bought during this first leg of summer if we think that we've lost a giant as Kyrgiakos in defense and a good midfielder as Weissenberger. Now I'm reading that we're lookin' for buying or Mantzios from PAO (but what have he made last year with us?) or Søren Larsen from Schalke: how is it been his last season with 04? For me Charisteas should be a good choice above all we think that the only 2 serious strickers of our team are Ama and Fenin...If Charisteas will find again the condition of 4 years ago, he could be good for us. For me it could be a good idea try to buy or Galasek (free from Nurnberg) or Saenko that have played a good EC last month.

I think to arrive in UEFA Cup could already be a great result for this year. I don't think that we dream about Champions League. We started to save us from relegation, arrive in the left side of the chart will be a victory.
Anyway, congrats to Funkel and his crowd, without to spend too much money he has released a great team.

I still preffer our veteran Oka to Pröll as goalkeeper. For me to end the season in the first 10 teams would be for us like to win the Bundesliga.
Be quite, for sure I'll go on to be an Eagles supporter.
One question for the fans: are Chris and Vasoski still injured? Do you know when they will be again available? Even if Russ is playin' a good season (with a fundamental goal in Bielefeld), Vaso and Chris are better. And what do you think about the mexican Galindo? Will he can one day to find a place between the 11 on field from the start?

After 9 matches of Bundesliga, I'd like to have some judgments from you, above all from the lucky guys that can followe the Eagles at the stadium or in TV, about our championship. I yhink that #7 position in the ranking is more that I could imagine at the begining of the season. Without the UEFA Cup to take away strenght from our players, we're making a good season with 9 point up the dangerous zone. We have lost only 2 games that could be 1, with the unlucky match against Werder, and often played a good football with Meier that is become our leader on field. Unfortunately even this season, we have had some big players injured above all between the forwards -our weakest section- with the samurai Takahara that is arrived broken after a fantastic Asian Cup and Amanatidis out, like Chris -a long-time injured- and Vasoski. So our goals must come from middlefelders like Meier or defenders like Kyrgiakos or Russ -another great surprise for me-, but this could be our weak point for the rest of championship 'cos it's hard go ahead for all the season with few goals from the forwards. In the last 2 championship, our salvation come from the goals of Amanatidis two years ago and Takahara last year. My only sadness is caused by Nikolov, still out from his kingdom, the penalty area. But now, let's enjoy our #7 position and the victory against Leverkusen of this afternoon.

So no chances for me to see the highlights of Eintrachts matches... In Italy Sky TV only broadcasts the games of Bayern, Schalke, Dortmund and Werder so it's hard to find the Eagles' matches

The team has showed a grea spirit scoring twice when they were under 0-2. If we will buy another forward the team will give us some satisfactions this season, I'm sure!

Like it's impossible compare the two teams so it's impossible compare the two players, but I wanted to say that a player born in '76 he's not so old to be a good player for his team both Real Madrid both Eintracht. I know that between Ruud and Thurk there are some little   differences but Thurk could be a good player for us.

I'd buy Feulner from Köln, Madahvikia from HSV, Insua from Gladbach and Sverkos. With these players we could get over the selling of Ama and Streit in the next season. Even if my dream is to see Christian Gyan with the Eagles.

I think that Feulner from Köln could be a great bought for us even if he does not play on the right like Streit, but I like him. In Italy someone told that Madhavikia could be a new player for us in the next season, he could play in the same band of Streit...

You've a great luck to can see the matches of Bundesliga in TV Yes, yesterday is been a great day even if the risk of relegation is stil alive, we will have to pay attention until the last match. Vasoski and Kyrgiakos are a great couple of defenders for our team and Vasi often goes on the other box to sack the ball with his head, like yesterday. It's sad from a side to know that some teams like Newcastle would but him from Eintracht but for the other side is a great news 'cos it means that we have a really good defender. In Bremen it will be hard, for me it will be a good thing take away 1 point from the Weserstadion, we have to make the same result of Aachen to be safe the next Sunday It's sure that after yesterday we're really near to the salvation even in this season. And the next season, with UEFA Cup we will can have all the energies and the attention on Bundesliga
